Yew Tree Nature Walk & Qigong

Yew Tree Nature Walk & Qigong
Saturday 18th April, 10:00am – 12:00pm
Newlands Corner
You are invited to spend the morning in nature, walking gently through the woods to the ancient yew trees.
Yew is one of our oldest native trees enduring, rooted, quietly present through the seasons. To be among them is to slow down and reconnect with something steady and timeless.
We will walk together at a relaxed pace, with moments of silence, arriving at the yews for time to simply be, to pause, breathe and listen.
There will be gentle Qigong to awaken the body and support the natural movement of energy.
Qigong is a gentle practice of movement, breath and awareness that supports the natural flow of energy (Qi) in the body.
It’s a way of reconnecting with nature, with breath, and with the subtler layers within. Helping to soften a busy mind and bring more ease and balance.
This is a simple, held space to:
– Step out of the busyness of daily life
– Reconnect with nature
– Reset your breath and body
£30 per person
Meeting point: 10am behind the café at Newlands Corner.
Please bring:
– Clothing and footwear suitable for outdoors and all weathers
– A small offering for nature (something natural, gathered with respect)
– A water bottle or thermos flask
– Personal snacks, or a small snack offering to share
– Something to sit on (an old yoga mat, picnic blanket or towel you don’t mind getting a little earthy)
